The 55th Annual 4th of July Pancake breakfast

Hosting the 5oth Annual Pancake Breakfast was an exciting opportunity to see everyone out and about sharing in their patriotic gear.  The club hosted the breakfast at the Elementary School and served 300 people.  Thank you to all our sponsors for making this a huge success.  After two years of missed parades, the team assembled early in the morning and pulled off a terrific event.  Also, the club won the prize for best Civic Float in the 2022 Chatham 4th of July AParade, Congrats to Chris, Adam, and the team.

There's more to this holiday weekend than the parade, beginning with fireworks and entertainment at Veterans Field on Saturday, July 2 (see separate story).

Don't forget the 55th annual Pancake Festival, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Chatham. A hearty pancake breakfast is a great way to start the day and support a good cause. Get a freshly cooked stack at the elementary school on Depot Road beginning at 7 a.m. Not only do you get all the pancakes you can eat, but bacon, milk, juice, and coffee, too. All for a mere $15 for adults, $5 for kids under 12; kids under 5 are free, and families of four get a deal for just $30. Proceeds help support the Rotary's contributions to local organizations such as Monomoy Community Services, Chatham Food Pantry, scholarships, and support for the Goll Farm School in Liberia.

Finally, finish the holiday with a Chatham Athletics game at iconic Veterans Field. The A's face the Orleans Firebirds at 7 p.m.
